Accessibility
Updated
This site belongs to Christian Olson, one person working from Clinton, Arkansas. When this page says "we," it means Christian. We want everyone who visits christianolson.org to be able to read it, use it, and book a call. That includes people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, a magnifier, or voice control.
1. What we aim for
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA on every page. WCAG is the set of web accessibility rules most laws and lawsuits point to. No outside auditor has certified this site, so we don't claim full conformance. What we can say is below, with the date and the tools.
2. What is built in
- Every page starts with a "Skip to the page" link that you reach with the Tab key.
- Links, buttons, and the menu are standard page controls, so they work with a keyboard. The one you are on shows a clear outline.
- Headings run in order, with one main heading on each page.
- The page language is set to English.
- Pictures that carry meaning have a text description. The website picture and the phone on the home page are each described in one sentence.
- The layout adapts to phone screens. We checked the home page at 390 pixels wide, and it doesn't scroll sideways.
- The phone number is a link you can tap to text.
3. How we checked
On November 7, 2026, we ran two automated checkers, axe-core and pa11y, on the home page, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service.
- axe-core found no problems on any of the three pages.
- pa11y reported only things it could not judge: the text laid over the photo in the sample website picture, and the two frames from Google (the booking calendar and the map), which it can't look inside.
Automated tools catch only part of what can go wrong. A person has not yet tested this site with a screen reader, so we can't say how well it works with one.
4. What still falls short
- Moving parts have no pause button. The word in the top headline changes every two seconds. The phone story and the before-and-after demo on the home page play on their own. The full headline is in the page text for screen readers, and the phone story is described in one sentence. There is still no way to pause the motion.
- Text over a photo is unmeasured. The sample website picture on the home page puts light text over a photo. Automated tools can't measure contrast there, and we haven't measured it by hand. The picture is an example only, and it is described in text.
5. Parts we don't control
The booking calendar is a Google Calendar page shown inside ours. The map in the footer is Google Maps. Google builds and maintains both, so we can't fix problems inside them. If the calendar doesn't work for you, text or call (501) 365-6845 and we'll set up the call that way.
6. Tell us about a problem
If something on this site gets in your way, text or call (501) 365-6845. Say what happened and which page it was on. We'll work with you to get you what you needed another way, and we'll fix the problem on the site.
